Mr. Creighton has extensive experience as a Las Vegas Bankruptcy Attorney representing large corporate debtors, individual debtors, creditors, unsecured creditors committees, liquidating trustees, and trustees in every facet of bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Creighton, as a Las Vegas Bankruptcy Attorney, focuses his practice in helping individuals in Las Vegas file for bankruptcy.

Recently, Mr. Creighton was awarded Commendations from U.S. Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) and Nevada State Assembly Speaker Barbra Buckley for his volunteer work with the Legal Aid Society of Southern Nevada Pro Bono Project. During 2009, Mr. Creighton was one of 50 attorneys to reach the Legal Aid Center 50 Hour Club for time spent assisting low-income clients with pro bono legal services in the area of child abuse and neglect.

While obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree from the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law, Mr. Creighton served as a legal extern for Chief Judge Randolph Baxter of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio. He also interned for Coors Brewing Company and worked on the merger of Coors Brewing Company and Miller Brewing Company.

Mr. Creighton was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada and is currently a member of the American Bar Association and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Byron E. Thomas graduated from Hampton University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts.  Mr. Thomas received his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2001. After graduating from law school, Mr. Thomas clerked for the Honorable Peter Michalaski of the Third Judicial District, Anchorage, Alaska.

Mr. Thomas’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, and bankruptcy law. Byron Thomas joined Black and LoBello in April of 2010.
